Do You Have an FSA Account? March 15 is Coming!

Do you have a flex spending account? If you do, you may have a grace period to use your 2012 FSA funds. Many FSA programs offer a grace period ending on March 15. Not every plan is the same though, so be sure to check with your benefit provider to confirm whether or not you have this deadline.

While many FSA plans end on December 31, some plans have grace periods that extend coverage up to 2 ½ months. March 15 is a major upcoming FSA deadline for those.

Gear up for spring and summer with FSA-eligible sunscreen.

Mommy Head Says: Johnson’s Natural Baby Products

When it comes to being a “green” family, I am not always on the ball. It isn’t that I don’t want to be. I just don’t always feel like I have the time.

But when we found out that Baby #3 was on the way, I figured it was time to make some serious changes. And then when I was doing my January Monthly Reading, I learned about a lot of the chemicals that are in a lot of the products I was using. I learned that it wasn’t as difficult to be more natural, and honestly, it could save me money in the long run.

It was time to make some serious changes.

Johnson’s Natural Baby Products are made from a combo of fruit and plant derived ingredients that are gentle on baby’s skin. And since we have been struggling with some serious dry skin on Lion, I really hoped this might help him out.

I love that they are tear free and they do not have an powerful smell. They are free from added chemicals that I don’t want to put on my baby! This is always an added bonus, not only for my two now, but the new one due to arrive in April!

As soon as I received the Johnson’s Natural products, I immediately went for the baby lotion. A little went a long way, and within a day, Lion’s dry skin was almost completely gone. It didn’t bother him like some of the other brands did. I was able to just rub it in and we were good. He even smiled!

Back when Bear was born, one of the first things that Daddy Head and I decided to do was to start saving for her college. It also allows for the money in the Gerber Life College Plan to be used as life insurance if the need would arise.
