Disclosure: I was provided with a copy of the mentioned Bible for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Reading the Bible is a very important thing in my church. Every year, we commit to a Bible reading plan of some sort either corporately or individually. It is up to each person to decide what they are committing to.
Taking it a step further, our family spends time everyday in the Word individually and together. It is a vital part of our spiritual lives and is something that I take very seriously.
I try as hard as I can to instill a passion for the Word of God in my children and younger members of my family by showing them how important it is to me. I also do what I can to give them resources that they can use to make a huge difference in their understanding and in their own personal relationships with the Lord.
That is why when I was given the chance to review the new NCV Bible in a Year from Tommy Nelson, I took it. I love to have Bibles to use personally and then sow into young lives, and this Bible fits the bill.
Very bold and eye catching, this Bible is sure to be attractive to young Bible readers. The front cover makes it look more like a fun book, which makes it more fun. The NCV is an easy to read translation, which is more inviting for young readers in their own understanding.
With the new year just around the corner, Christmas makes for the perfect time to give this Bible as a gift. And I want to help one MHA reader do just that!
