Welcome to the first week of the Weekly Weigh In link up with Crazy & Cool with a Side of Crafty, Raising Three Savvy Ladies and Mommy Head Adventures. We are so excited to provide you with a place where you can share your goals and successes, your failures and set backs, so that we can take the time to encourage one another on our journey’s to get to the place we long to be.
Every Wednesday at 8pm CST you can come and link up pictures of your scale, posts about your weight loss or anything fitness related. We want to know what you are up to so that we can learn from you and maybe help you as well. We aren’t experts, but we hope to have some fun with you.
Before I get to the picture of my scale, I wanted to share with you how my 5k race went last well.
It. Was. Awesome!
I ran my fastest 5k ever, finishing up at 27:49. I don’t know how I placed in the race, but I was so excited to cruise in at over 2 minutes faster than my fastest 5k and 5 minutes off the last one I ran. Here is a couple pictures for you:
With only 1 month away from my half-marathon (eek!), here is my training schedule for the week:
- Thursday: 4 mile run
- Friday: Weight Lifting with my personal trainer
- Saturday: 10 mile long run
- Sunday: Rest Day
- Monday: 4 mile run
- Tuesday: Pilates or body weight
- Wednesday: 6 mile run
I am really getting the miles in, whether I feel like it or not. It has been hard at times to get the job done, but I know it is for my good. Next week I hope to share with you my goals for my half-marathon, that way you can cheer me on.
