Yesterday, we spend some time talking about accountability partners and finding people who will encourage us in our fast from insecurity. Today, I want to ask you a question:
Are the people you spend your time with feeding your insecurity?
The other day I was reading Beth Moore’s book So Long, Insecurity and she spent some time talking about who we spend our time with. As I was reading her second chapter, I realized the very heart of what she was saying is exactly what I needed in my life!
If I am surrounding myself with others who are putting me down and just feeding the insecurity monster, it is not wonder that I am struggling like I am! If I want to be free, I need to take the time to get rid of those who are using me to feed their own egos and making themselves feel good at my expense.
Mind you, I don’t have many people who fit this category, but there are a few! And since I have so many great encouragers in my life, I can see a place for some change.
So, your assignment for today is to take role! Look at those you surround yourself with and see if there are any insecurity feeders that need to go. Then take the time to pray about how you can separate yourself and receive some new freedom!

Good info! Thanks for posting this!
