Do it for Yourself – 31 Day Insecurity Fast

Isn’t that picture just the best?

That is me as I was finishing up a 5k run back in September, and it was a great moment in my life!

You see, after I had Banana I had gained entirely too much weight and was miserable.  And that also means that my insecurity level was at one of the highest levels it had ever been.

And I was determined to do something about it!  So, we put our money where it needed to be and I got a membership and personal trainer at a local gym.  And I put on my list of goals to run a 5k.

Now what does this have to do with insecurity?  Everything.

As I began to accomplish weight loss goals, I noticed that my struggles with insecurity began to get easier to deal with.  And I also noticed that I was happier in general.

Why?

Because I was doing something about it.  I don’t want to live my life miserable in my appearance.  And I don’t want to live life in chronic insecurity.

So, as we near the end of this series, let me leave you with this thought.  Whip insecurity for yourself.  Even if it isn’t for anyone else, do it for you!  It will make you a happier and more at peace person.  Trust me!

    I am right there with you! Congrats on the first 5K that is awesome. I think it is really hard for us women to accept things about ourselves even if other’s don’t see them as an issue.
