When it comes to dinner, I am always on the hunt to find something easy, fun and healthy to feed my family! Often times, I rely on my crockpot since Banana still demands much of my attention at that time. But I do like to cook something different from time to time.
When I took a look at the $5 Dinner Mom’s One-Dish Dinners Cookbook, I immediately knew I had a new arsenal of things to try that my family would love. And at a frugal price, too!
Every recipe in the book will feed a family of 4-5 for less than $5! I love this because in our house, there is always a little bit of leftovers for Daddy Head to take to work, or for me to eat the next day!
The two recipes that we tried immediately were the Slow Cooker Chicken Soft Tacos and Pizza Penne Bake. Both were hits and totally tasty. I was so excited to feed my family something I knew would be good and save us a little money as well! And the best part is, because they were so easy, it left for more time as a family. That is always a win win.
So, if you are in the neighborhood for something fun, tasty and gives you the ability to be more frugal, head out to your local bookstore or amazon and pick up your copy of the $5 Dinner Mom One-Dish Dinners Cookbook by Erin Chase. Be sure to check out Erin’s blog, Facebook and Twitter while you are at it!
