This past summer was a doozy when it came to bugs. For the entire month of July, Daddy Head and I fought the biggest battle ever against a common household pest: ants!
It seemed that I tried just about everything. I used homemade ant bait. I used ant traps. And all of these things only seemed to make the problem worse. Not to mention, they made me so much more nervous based on having the chemicals around the children.
I thought about pulling out the big guns and calling in an exterminator, but I didn’t feel comfortable unless we could get away for a few days. I really didn’t want Banana to breath in any fumes.
But thankfully, the ants went away before I needed to go that far. And I heard about a great new product that uses Fipronil, a fast-acting ingredient to take out ants and their colonies:

Combat is now my go to source for all things ants. Their products are easy to use and very effective. The ant baits are simple little houses that can be placed on your counters. This keeps the kiddos from grabbing ahold and getting into things they are not supposed to. The ants go into the houses, grab the bait, take it home and feed it to their colony. No more ants!
They also have a great gel that can be placed near ant trails, next to ant nests or in areas of suspected an activity. The gel can be used inside or out, so this is a great way to avoid sprays and to keep the ants from coming in in the first place!

I get ants in my truck every time i park in the grass!
They are everywhere! I have put ant granules all around my house and the little buggers still come in.

We don’t know how so many ants could seep into our home….but it happens. We try and keep the house clean and free of anything they may “like”. Would love to find something to zap them! Thanks for the chance to win!
