This last week, I took Lion in for his first big boy haircut. I have cut his hair, as has my mother in law. But since he won’t let me touch his hair, and my mother in law is still recovering from her shoulder surgery, we had to bite the bullet and go to the salon.
After two stops, we found the place for us. We walked in and the lady at the front desk informed me that they had someone there who used to work in a children’s salon. Score!
Lion sat in my lap and she explained to him what she was going to do. I told her about Lion’s Down syndrome and misshaped head. She worked with us and gave him a great hair cut.
He did great for the first 10 minutes but then he was done. After much crying, the end result made it worth it. Here is my handsome son!
