Wow! I thought this post would never get done. Between Lion’s therapies, Banana needing me to hold him, lunch and my stinky arm pits, I just seemed that there was no time.
But the time came, and now I am letting you in on my weight loss for the week.
After a beautiful number of 193.0 last week, the results are in. My scale this week said:
I am so excited to be down another pound, but I have to say, I struggled with being disappointed that it was only 1 pound.
This week on The Gunnar Challenge, we are taking about celebrating accomplishments. Gunnar was encouraging us to look past just the numbers on the scale, and take some time to think about other things that have changed since we started the challenge.
So, in effort to reflect on all accomplishments, especially those past the numbers on the scale, I thought I would share with you a few things I am celebrating this week.
1. I did squats today during my personal training session using a bar with 50 pounds on it! I am so happy to be the girl of the group to push myself beyond my comfort zone and do a hard thing.
2. When stretching, I was able to touch my toes. I have never been all the flexible, so this was a huge thing for me. And now, I hope to go even farther.
3. I was able to wear a new pair of jeans that just 2 weeks ago were way too tight. Now they come up with ease.
4. I feel the best I have in a long time. When I go to workout at the gym, I know that I am doing a good thing for my health and my family. And this makes me so happy.
So, what accomplishments are you celebrating this week? Share with me in the comments.
