Brushing Teeth with Spiffies {Review and #Giveaway}

Growing up, brushing my teeth was a vital part of my nightly routine, especially when I had braces as an early teen.  I wanted to make sure my teeth were nice and white!  I liked having a pretty smile and I knew that brushing my teeth was an important part of insuring this.

But, now that I am older and have children of my own, I don’t always get the job done.  Bear doesn’t mind her teeth being washed, but Lion hates it!  He doesn’t like having his head touched, which I am sure is due in part to his Down syndrome.  Because of this, I just never really have tried hard to make him let me brush his teeth.

We needed a solution!

Spiffies I can Brush Tooth Brushing Liquid was just the solution for Bear.  She could have hear teeth brushed in less time and the taste was so much better!  No longer did she have to fight the gritty taste of paste.  And this great fluoride- and paraben-free formula is something I can feel confident is taking care of her teeth.  Xylitol is the main ingredient, which is rich in cavity fighting agents, and it the grape flavor is an added plus.

Spiffies Cleaning and Teething Wipes were the perfect solution for Lion.  While he still doesn’t care much to have his teeth brushed, these wipes have drastically cut down the fight.  All Daddy Head and I have to do is take one of these great tasting wipes, wrap it around our finger and brush it over his teeth a few times.  Yes, we run the risk of a few bites, but it make the screaming fight more bearable.

These wipes also contain the same great cavity fighter of Xylitol and are even great at soothing gums of teething babies when you put them in the refridgerator for a bit to make them cold.  I plan to try these on Baby Benana when he starts teething in the coming months.  This will also prepare him for when it comes time to start brushing his chompers!
