Mommy Head Says: Motherlove Personal and Family Care {Review}

I will be honest from the beginning here.  I am not really all that into the whole green movement.  Please don’t misunderstand me.  I am not saying that I don’t think we need to take care of our environment.  Nor am I saying that I don’t want to do what is best for my children.

I am simply saying that I am a busy mom who doesn’t always have time to research every product I buy.  I am also saying that I don’t always have the money to spend on organic, holistic products.

But, I have found a brand that has made both of the above issues easier:

Mother Love Review

Motherlove is a company that specializes in making organic, holistic products for Mom and Baby.  And they truly live up to what their website says about them:

As the first herbal personal care and supplement line specifically designed for pregnant and breastfeeding women, Motherlove has led the holistic body care industry since its conception in 1990. Our dedication to consistent quality means crafting only the finest, purest products, and using certified organic ingredients designed to nurture, soothe and heal women on their all-important journey of nurturing life. Each of our formulas are time proven and backed with integrity, wisdom and an intimate knowledge of herbal remedies.

As a major supporter of organic farming and sustainable practices, Motherlove strives to do not only do what’s best for mothers and babies, but what’s best for the environment as well. All our office supplies and packaging is made from recycled materials (as is all company literature), we manufacture using wind credits, and of course, none of our products are ever tested on animals and are completely cruelty free.

And this is truly what I felt like I received when I got my product to review!

One of the first products that my family had the priviledge of reviewing immediately was their Green Salve.  Daddy Head had just found a nasty tick bite and the green salve to the itch right out.  Bear has struggled with mosquito bites all summer and the only product we have found to keep her from scratching has been the green salve.

Another product that has helped me personally has been their amazing Nipple Cream.  Lion has been brutal to me lately with pulling off while eating.  The nipple cream has soothed and comforted my delecate skin.

The last product we received to review as their Rhoid Balm.  Thankfully, we have not had to use this product yet, but I know the time will come soon where we will need to.

To purchase any of the above products, simply head on over to Motherlove and get to ordering.  While there, be sure to check out their Pregnant Belly Oil or their Diaper Rash Cream.  I know for me, I would love to get my hands on their Nurturing Life Giftbox.

Be sure to also check out their facebook fan page and to follow them on twitter to stay up to date on the newest info on Motherlove.

Disclaimer: I received the above 3 products in order to facilitate this review.  As always, all views and opinions are 100% my own.
