When my daughter, Bear, was born, I was elated! I had a precious little girl, with a head full of hair to decorate with all sorts of girly hair accessories!
And then reality set in that little girls will only let you do that for a short period of time. Then they learn that they can rip the bows out of their hair. And when they rip, out comes their precious hair.
Add to that the fact that our daugther’s hair was pulled out from several EEG’s, and well, it took awhile before was at an even length to use bows. It was a usual ponytail for her to pull back her very whispy, curly hair.
So, to counteract the ripping, I know it take a quality bow. I have tried all different types. The plain kind from Wal-Mart. I even had some special made for her, to no avail.
That is when I found Blue Eyed Blessings!

My friend Cori co-runs this Etsy store and sent me out a beautiful Kanzashi bow to try in Bear’s hair. I was so excited to find a bow that looked like a little flower made out of cherry ribbon. Let’s just say, I have a thing for cherries
My favorite part! The bow was so lightweight, Bear had no idea it was in her hair! Talk about amazing! That meant no ripping.
My second favorite part! I could wear it!
And wear it I did. I received many compliments and decided that the bows that Bear won’t wear, I can wear! I am a girl after all!
Now it is your turn! Want to win a bow of your own for yourself or a little one in your life? Cori has agreed to giveaway a bow of the winner’s choice, valued at $5 or less! Thanks Cori!
