3-21
This day is the day that has been set aside and noticed as World Down Syndrome Day. And, honestly, I would never had known that if my little Lion hadn’t come along.
So, today I want to take a moment and tell you how sweet my son is. I love little Lion with everything inside of me, and I wouldn’t trade him for any other baby. His diagnosis is just that, a diagnosis. He is still my baby and I love him, extra chromosome and all.
We will celebrate the day by going to his 9 month well check visit. That means shots and weight checks. It is big sister Bear’s 2 year visit as well. So, new milestones will be recorded, and it will be lovely.
It will be nice to do business as usual after a long weekend and as I gear up for my 10 day trip next week.
What are you plans today?

You know I was in a Dr appt while pregnant with my son and was told over 90% of pregnancies are aborted if the genetic testing leans towards Down Syndrome. I was shocked (mind you I dont know how accurate this is) because I honestly did not even think about it I was having my son. Granted he does not have it but I can not picture loving him any less. God Bless Lion and your entire family.
